DIY Chunky Blanket

I've always wanted to go to one of those chunky blanket classes. I mean is there any such thing as too many blankets? Let me answer that for you... NOPE!

A friend of mine was going through a tough time and I thought it would be a perfect craft to get her mind off of the circumstances surrounding her. So, I grabbed some yarn for myself, for her and my sister and we got to blanket making.

Let me warn you, this does take several hours, but it's so worth it. It's worth the memories, it's worth the bonding, the time together and the friendship blankets we have as a reminder that we don't have to look far, that we can find peace and comfort in our friends, the people who God places in our lives at just the right time.
