Irresistible Bang Bang Chicken

Here's my latest recipe card for bang bang chicken... and it was a BANG in our house! If you like a little spice, you're gong to LOVE this one! I found this top Pinterest recipe and gave it my twist!

Chicken Ingredients: 1 1/2lbs Chicken tenderloins, boneless skinless

1 Large Egg

2/3 cup milk

1 tbsp Hot Sauce/Sriracha

1 cup Corn Flakes, Crumbed

3/4 cup All Purpose Flour

1/4 tsp Black Pepper

1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper

1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1/2 cup Cornstarch

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

Oil for frying

Parsley (optional)

Bang Bang Sauce:

2 tbsp Honey

1 cup Mayonnaise

4 tsp Sriracha

1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce

Instructions:

  1. Prep frying pan with oil and heat to medium heat while you prep the chicken.

  2. Prepare 2 bowls (one with wet ingredients- including egg, milk, hot sauce, and one with dry ingredients- sift together flour and spices including peppers, garlic powder, corn starch, baking powder, and salt. Crumb the corn flakes by hand to make them smaller and add them to the flour and spice bowl.

  3. Pat chicken dry of moisture. Roll chicken in dry, wet, and dry ingredients to coat well.

  4. Fry small batches until golden brown until internal temperature is 165 degrees. Let chicken rest on a baking sheet.

  5. Meanwhile, mix together all ingredients for sauce. Dip or drizzle sauce over chicken and coat with parsley to your liking.
