What started as a small idea to share homemade goods with our community quickly became something much deeper.
The farmstand was born during a season where we were craving slower rhythms, more meaningful work, and deeper connection.
Over time, it became more than baked goods and recipes.

I’m Lauren — a wife and mama of five, writer, homemaker, homesteader, and host of the podcast There Will Be Joy. What began as a simple desire to create a more meaningful, home-centered life slowly grew into the farmstand, the recipes, the storytelling, and the community we now share here. I care deeply about creating a life that feels rooted in faith, family, hospitality, creativity, and joy — not rushed or disconnected from what matters most.
My story has been shaped by love, loss, redemption, rebuilding, and the quiet daily decision to keep choosing joy in both the bitter and the sweet.
